The Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, Morocco, is reported to be the seventh largest in the world. The minaret, at 210 meters, is the tallest in the world. This image was made with a Nikon D750 and a Nikkor 24-85 mm lens at 24 mm. The camera was held close to the ground and tilted upward to frame everything from the passing pedestrians to the top of the minaret within the arch. The exposure was f/8 and 1/1600 sec. Tonal levels and the perspective were adjusted in Photoshop. Image by Irwin H. Segel.
