This finch was photographed at Cape May Point State Park at the southern tip of New Jersey using a Nikon D80 and a Nikkor 55-200 lens at f/11, 1/400 sec at ISO 800 in Aperture priority mode. I visit this nature trail often, but I rarely find such a colorful shot or a bird so willing to pose!
