I have lived in Texas for over 40 years but had never been to Big Bend State Park. We were in place at Dugout Wells just as the sun was rising and I was taken in by the light on the prickly pear cacti that stretched to the far mountains.
I used a Nikon Df with a Nikkor 24-120 mm lens@48mm with a Sirui tripod. The camera settings were ISO 1600, 1/15 sec and f32.
