This majestic banyan tree sits in the garden area near the entrance of the Ritz-Carlton resort in Kapalua, Maui. I took many photos of this banyan tree during daylight hours. While it made for a pretty photo during the day, I found that the subtle lighting and long shutter speed during the night time setting added a dreamy and stunning quality to the overall scene.
