This apartment building in the 7th arrondissement of Paris was designed by the architect Jules Lavirotte and built between 1899 and 1901. Lavirotte was awarded the prize for the most original new façade in that district of the city. The sculptured face above the door center is said to be that of Lavirotte’s wife. I used a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200 mm VR lens at 24 mm. The exposure was f/11 and 1/50 sec. The perspective was corrected using Photoshop.
