I have passed by these decrepit old buildings on many occasions as I have driven back and forth between the Merced National Wildlife Refuge and the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge by way of the country roads. What I hadn't seen before was any evidence of life other than the weeds and bushes that call themselves neighbors. The crow was the only visitor that I've ever seen there. I'm glad I stopped and that it chose to sit for a spell. I converted the color image to B&W in Photoshop and then raised the contrast and lowered the brightness levels
