Bryce Canyon is so dramatic with its orange hoodoos that monochrome isn't the first thing you think of. But the shapes and textures really come out in black and white, as well as the gradations of color. It emphasized how weird this place really is. Converted to monochrome with Nik Silver Efex. Gear: Canon 5D MkIII, 24-105 mm lens, tripod.
