I hear ya! lol I'm waiting on a T-ring adapter for my Rebel XTi so I can use my telescope as a lens. That would put it at 1016mm focal length and a aperture of 260mm.

Settings are perfect, now all you need is additional mm's on your lens! :)
I was out last night using a 1000mm on the moon, but mine is homemade and the tin foil aperture disc I made gives off a bit of shadow while the total outcome is not that great to start with. But, it's what I do! :)
