Here’s another photography list for you. Like any list of the best of anything, this list is subjective. Even if it were the “most useful,” “most thoughtful” or “funniest” quotes about photography, it would still be subjective.

The Satechi BT Smart Trigger is an Android and iOS wireless timer remote for latest Canon camera models. The Smart Trigger app features multiple modes allowing users to easily capture the best shots every time. The Regular Shot mode (iOS/Android smartphones or tablets) acts as a wireless shutter that can be used for group shots. Manual Shot mode offers users the ability to take long exposures and lock the shutter open to capture photographic techniques such as star trails, fireworks or light painting at night. Time Shot mode turns your smartphone or tablet into an intervalometer used for advanced photography tasks such as time lapses or videos of traffic, weather or blooming flowers.

Designer toys got their start in Japan and China but their uniqueness (and the fact that they are so freaky/cute) soon propelled them to red-hot global collectable status. Produced as limited editions, some of these vinyl creations can be worth thousands of dollars to dedicated collectors.

Nashville-based photographer Ryan Roberts began by creating whimsical images of vintage toys but he soon discovered the odd (and a bit warped) world of designer vinyl toys by artists such as Frank Kozik (Mongers Menthols series), Doma (Acid Sweeties series) and Pete Fowler (Monsterism series). The Fujifilm X-A2 mirrorless compact system camera, the successor to the X-A1, uses a standard APS-C sized image sensor rather than the X-Trans CMOS II sensor found in other Fujifilm cameras like the X-T1 and X-E1. Nevertheless, the new Fuji X-A2 gets the most out of this sensor technology and showed a very good performance in our tests.

Sony just announced two new Zeiss zoom lenses for its A-mount camera system: the  Vario-Sonnar T* 24-70mm F2.8 ZA SSM II (model SAL2470Z2) standard zoom and Vario-Sonnar T* 16-35mm F2.8 ZA SSM II (model SAL1635Z2) wide angle zoom lenses.
