There's no denying the fact that some mobile photographers understand how to consistently capture beautiful images that would make all of us proud. There are others, however, who consider their phone a camera of last resort—reserved for times when their "real" gear is at home.

While previously thought of as a niche, boudoir photography is now a thriving way for photographers to make a living. Usually a gift to a loved one or one’s self, boudoir photography consists of an intimate photo of a woman or man suggestively covered or even fully nude. Although the photographers I interviewed all have different businesses, they all have one thing in common: tremendous kindness and compassion. This thought-provoking video begins with photographer Tony Northrup reading a message from someone dissing another pro’s choice of gear: “Someone should tell Peter McKinnon that the Canon 1D X Mark II does crappy 4K, and only the Nikon D850 is good.”

We teamed up with GuruShots once again for another fabulous photo challenge. This time the theme was "Tell A Story" where we asked photographers to submit a captivating image that conveyed a tale of some kind.

Classic features include felt-lined shoulder straps, leather accessory braze-ons, metal closures, vintage woven labels and rustic charcoal nylon packcloth. Each feature serves a purpose, and together they work to create a retro outdoor mojo that gives the packs a distinctly downtown vintage flair.

And each pack is built to perform for photographers on the go. Innovative padded bays protect lenses, flashes, extra lenses and expensive SLR cameras. Accessory pockets organize the little things, keeping them right at hand. Clever access portals let you access your camera without breaking stride so you never miss the shot.

If you've ever been walking down the street and a picture caught your
eye, but had no camera to capture the moment, then the small, shirt-pocket size
digicams might just be item you're seeking. A number of companies, including
Pentax, Casio and Minolta have already introduced such models, each with their
own unique feature sets. Now, Contax, a name renowned for exquisite cameras
and excellent lenses, has jumped into the fray with their own version, the U4R,
a 4-megapixel camera sporting a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* lens. Those familiar
with the amazing image clarity of this line of lenses will immediately recognize
the name; those unfamiliar with it can be assured that it is a legendary name
in optics. The camera has just under a 3x optical zoom lens, delivering the
equivalent of 38-115mm in 35mm format. There's also a digital zoom if
you need it, delivering over 400mm, but as with many digital zooms it's
really a crop into the frame, and will not deliver the quality of the prime
optics.
