Here’s a cautionary tale for you: An 88-year-old historic monument in Florida’s Big Cypress National Preserve has been burned to the ground by a photographer light painting the scene with burning steel wool. The unidentified photographer had climbed to the roof of the wooden Monroe Station, lit some steel wool, and began shooting without realizing he had set the building ablaze.

Freestyle Photographic Supplies, in its continuing efforts to showcase the works
of black-and-white photographic masters, brings Mr. Gil Garcetti's Frozen
Music to its Gallery at the Creative Center for Photography. With his stunningly
powerful images--some as large as four by six feet--Mr. Garcetti captures
the powerful aesthetic of Frank O. Gehry's architectural masterpiece, the
Walt Disney Concert Hall.



Viewers are treated to a unique insider's look at this breathtaking building
as it was brought to life in downtown Los Angeles, California. With this show,
Mr. Garcetti, who retired as the Los Angeles County District Attorney in 2000,
establishes himself as a serious photographic talent. The opening reception is
from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on May 11, 2006 at Freestyle's Creative Center for
Photography Gallery, 5124 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, California.

Q. Can you explain why all cameras are designed to be “right-handed”? What I mean by that is when you are looking on the back, they all have the shutter button on the right side of the camera for shooting a picture. Are there any cameras with the shutter button on the left side that I am not aware of? I would really appreciate your comments on the subject very much. Thank you.

Cable recently turned his good buddy and Apple Computer legend Steve "Woz" Wozniak on to how easy and fun it is to fly these drones and shot a short video of the experience.
