What a beautiful picture. LOVE the B&W.

This is the wreck of the Point Reyes, and old wood fishing boat stuck on the shores of Tomales Bay , CA. The boat is an often photographed site but rarely in BW and usually from the side. Shooting low and head-on from the bow, the boat is abstracted to a few rough shapes and isolated by the quickly lifting fog (I only had this scene for a few minutes before the fog lifted). The angle and dense fog give her back some life and buoyancy and I prefer to imagine her like this, moving through the water and heeling over from the wind.
Shot on a Fuji X-T3 at 18mm. ISO160, f/8, 1/120s. Raw file processed in ON1 Photo RAW.
