On a trip to the Okavango Delta of Botswana I was fortunate to enjoy two weeks of tent camping throughout the Delta and one of the animals I enjoyed photographing was Hippos. This one stared at me for the longest time allowing me to get several good photos and this is just one of them. Camera was a Canon 7D with a Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was at 1/500 sec and ISO was at 100.
