I was up at the Pinnacle overlook at the Cumberland Gap NHP hoping to capture a sunrise, instead though, I was greeted with an amazing cloud inversion. Thick winter clouds filled the sky and thick fog filled the valley and I was positioned right between the two. Brief gaps in the clouds allowed light to pass through and appeared as if Heaven itself opened its gate.
