This photo was taken at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. While walking with my family on the beach at the last light of blue hour, I saw this composition. I quickly setup my tripod and camera, and framed the shot before the light left the sky. There was a storm front moving in so it added to the mood, creating waves that rushed up the beach. Using a long exposure I was able to smooth out the water and get the frothy tones of the waves. As I packed up my gear, my family and I got to enjoy a pod of dolphins swimming by. A great way to end a shoot.
This photo was taken with a Nikon D750 and a Nikon 28-300mm f3.5 - 5.6G lens, shot at 44mm, f/9.0, ISO 100, and 15sec exposure. I then edited it in Lightroom and Photoshop for the final product.
