These blossoms are really small...1/8-1/4 inch...so I had to get as close as possible with the D-200 and 60mm Nikkor Macro lens. It was a "stick experience as the Holly trees have stickers on the leaves. But, after abut three hours for the wind to die down, I got the shot.

I opened it in CS-2 with Nik filters for the final results.

(I'm not sure if that is the correct name of the tree as the locals call it by that name.)
