I took a boat tour out of Rockport, Texas and up to the Aransas Pass NWR. The Whooping Cranes were there feeding on the abundant blue crabs.
I used a Nikon D700 with a Sigma 150mm to 600mm zoom lens. The lens was zoomed to 600mm, the shutter speed was 1/8000 sec, the f/stop was 6.3 and the ISO was 1000. BIRD
