I took a friend of mine from Ohio hiking along the Appalachian Trail in the Roan Highlands. He had never been here and he loves the views of the mountains. We hiked out of Carvers Gap and got to the top of Jane Bald, the sun was starting to set so we set up our gear. There were white blazes along the ground because there were no trees or places to put posts. I really wanted to work that into the image so I set up pretty much laying on the ground.
