California Thrashers (Toxostoma redivivum) in the midst of of their mating ritual taken at Descanso Gardens, California. These shy birds are usually undercover and this photo was taken on a particularly dreary day with a gray background, so I deleted the background and replaced it with a blue sky to help distract from the high ISO "grainy" appearance of the birds.
