On July 2, 2017 I setup to take sunrise photos at the inlet by the Barnegat lighthouse in New Jersey. Just after 5:00AM I began shooting. I couldn't believe my luck when a sailboat was heading out to sea at 5:27AM and sailing right through my shot! I was using a Nikon D5100 and a Sigma 17mm-50mm f2.8 lens. My settings were 1/100 second at ISO 250 and 50mm/f2.8. Sometimes you never know what is about to "sail" through your photo!
