Although I am deeply in love with the grasslands here in North Dakota, the few trees that do make it in these conditions end up being very special. One fine spring evening, my hound Hank and I were out hiking and the wind was strong, rippling the sea of grass, whilst the sun cast our shadows strongly alongside this beauty.
