I was taking the "Walk with Ansel Adams" tour at Yosemite Valley when we stopped for the guide to discuss "Ansel's" view of the valley. The line of trees struck me as an interesting contrast, dead among the living. I used a Nikon D200, tripod mounted, with a Nikon zoom lens at 35mm. Exposure was f/11 at 1/180 and an ISO of 800.
