I had been checking the weather report early in the day, later I was also checking webcam to see where the optimal location would be to possibly get a good sunset. My original plan was to head north into Half Moon Bay but as it got closer to make the hour drive, I decided to head the opposite direction as the clouds looked too thick and wouldn't clear up. As I got into Santa Cruz, I headed to Twin Lakes State Beach, this would be the best viewing angle for sunsets. I was treated to a beautiful sunset.
