My son came from the UK to visit me in Salt Lake City in Feb 2011, he flew into Las Vegas so we took a day trip to the Grand Canyon before heading to Salt Lake City. The National Parks service had this set up in one of their buildings and I just loved the view, the text from Theodore Roosevelt and how the whole thing was framed. I remember it being a challenge to get as much of the cloud behind the text etched on the window so it was more visible but at the same time trying to keep the reflections down and the trees positioned so that the canyon ran between them.
This was taken with a Canon EOS Rebel XS setting were f/7.1, 1/125 sec exposure and ISO-100.
