Being crew on a cruise ship has its benefits. This morning in Glacier Bay I noticed the reflection of the Marjorie Glacier. What I did not realize that in order to get a reflection there must be a large amount of fresh water present. Salt water will not give you a reflection according the the park ranger and naturalist onboard. Afterwards I realized this must be true as the further we got from the glacier melt of fresh water the reflections disappeared.
