A friend & I spent a long weekend in the Bavarian Alps on a photo tour. October is always "iffy" and sure enough, a rain/sleet storm sent everyone into a classroom to work on editing techniques. We decided to head out to the beautiful Eibsee at the foot of the Zugspitz. We hiked the entire perimeter of the lake and shot this beautiful scene just as the clouds broke.
