This is the Berkeley Pit in Butte, Montana. It is a played out copper mine a mile long and a half mile wide. The water is 1200 feet deep.
I used my Nikon D90 with Sigma 18-250 lens. The lens was set at 20mm, 800 ISO. Shutter speed 1/800 at f14.
