I am an ER Physician and photographer who has been riding with the Peoria Fire Department for many years as their photographer.I have always enjoyed working with "First Responders" ,ie the fire department throughout my career as an ER physician and photographer. I wanted to document, through photography, the dedication and commitment that these firefighters, (and firefighters nationally),have as they risk their lives everyday serving their community.The black & white photographs in this series shows the intense dedication they have in fighting fires and saving lives.. I usually carry two NIKON D4s, NIKON 70-200mm 2.8 and NIKON 24-70 2.8mm when I am riding on the engine. This photograph was taken with a NIKON D4s 70-200mm 2.8,1/164 sec @ 5.0 ISO 320.
