In late spring, the large Magnolia bushes here in Florida bloom in all their glory of white elegant flowers. I captured this isolated blossom with a zoom lens to magnify the ballet-like quality of the bloom. Image converted to b/w in Photoshop to showcase the petal texture. Nikon D300, Nikon 70-300 lens, extended to 250mm, aperture priority, 1/2000 sec; f/5.6, ISO 320.
