A grey day at a part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Benzie county Michigan. This isolated pine tree in a dune blowout just of the beach of Lake Michigan caught my eye. The sturdy maturity and shape of the tree in a harsh environment with nice cloud structure was a strong composition.
