The reflections of the colorful autumn trees in the still waters of a Northwoods Wisconsin lake caused me to explore ways to creatively render the scene. I decided to make a blurred image in the water by using a slow shutter speed and vertically swiping the camera during the exposure. I experimented with different shutter speeds and rates of camera movement to produce an image I liked. Image made with Canon 7D mk2 and 18-135mm IS STM lens at 72mm focal length, ISO 100, 1/4 second @ F 11.0.
