As I was heading back to my car just after sunrise, thinking I was out of luck, I spotted these wood ducks. While they were in the shadow of the hill behind them I got some shots or their brilliant colors. But when they moved into direct sunlight, I got this interesting shot. In it, the ducks appear almost transparent, reminding me of a faded old photograph.
