Corona del Mar, much like the rest of Southern California, is truly a beautiful place to watch the sun fade into the pacific ocean. Every evening crowds gather along the beach and they fill the coastline to watch the sunset. I had been to this location before but I never had the opportunity to explore it. On the southern tip of the beach I found this rock formation that mixed well with the other elements of the scene. There was just one problem, a random jogger decided to touch the rock formation by walking in front of my camera every time they reached the southern end of the beach where I was shooting from. I was pretty much trapped because the sun was setting quickly so there was no time to relocate. However, at just the right moment as the sun began to disappear into the horizon the tide rolled in far enough to cut off the joggers path so she was forced to walk behind my camera ~ so I got this image!
