My son and I were at Omaha beach at Normandy late in the day. As we hiked up the bluffs, I noticed at sunset this lonely single tree bent by time, wind and the elements. While the tree was probably not there in June of 1944, it had withstood much.
I used my Nikon D-200 with the F/2.8 80-200 zoom and opened the file in CS-2 with Nik filters.
