Taken in Shanghai, China, this image shows a community in which the locals hang their laundry to dry in one of the few green spaces in the city. I was intrigued to see clothing and bedding hung from the trees. This image makes me step back and think about what appears normal in my culture and how it might be viewed as peculiar in other cultures.
