When we were planning our road trip through the American Southwest, everyone said "Don't miss Deadhorse Point at sunrise or sunset". Once we arrived, I saw that it deserved the hype. The views across Canyonlands National Park and down to the Colorado river are spectacular. We had a rather cloudy morning and filtered light, so the contrasts weren't what I was hoping for, but we take what we're given and the immensity and color were certainly on display.
