The Grand Canyon was buried in fog on the last day of my visit. It was gray and dismal, but on my way out of the park I noticed the clouds beginning to thin and a potential opening for sun. I parked on the side of the road and raced to the canyon edge just in time to capture this visitor celebrating the sun break, and a rainbow in the canyon below. My camera was a Canon EOS 5D Mark lll with EF 24-105mm lens mounted on a tripod. Settings were ISO 400, f/22, 1/80 sec.
