While photographing eagles fishing in the Mississippi river in January at LeClaire Iowa this bold fellow nearly flew right into me on his way to a perch behind me to eat his fish. There were about 50 eagles in the area all competing for food since there was only a small area of open water on the river near the lock not covered in ice, some stealing each others fish.
