I set the camera at a reasonable distance from a Wren's nest on my property. I stood even further away waiting for the Wren to return to the nest where I had seen her bringing food. I used a wireless remote to trigger the shutter so I wouldn't disturb the nest. I had an off camera flash set up but could only estimate where to place the flash. I got lucky. I used a Nikon D800E, a Nikon 70-200 F4, tripod, and SB700 flash.
