Iceberg, Glacier Bay, Alaska – This photograph was taken during a 10 day kayak trip with my wife and our three young children. McBride Glacier is a tidewater glacier that calves huge chunks of ice, many the size of a house or larger, that float in Glacier Bay. When the tide goes out, the beach is littered with formerly floating icebergs stranded on the shore.
