The Bond Falls are located in Michigan's upper peninsula. The portion of the falls I was focused on was in shade while the colorful fall trees on the opposite bank were in full sun. This enabled the swirls of color to be reflected on the dark water. A slow shutter speed smoothed out the fast flowing water. Image made with Canon 5D mark2 and Tamron 70-300mm SP VR lens at 300mm focal length. Exposure was 1/40 second, F 8.0, ISO 500.
