While on vacation in Aruba (January 2015) at the Tropicana Resort I was on the balcony and noticed a bird perched on a cactus. The sharp thorns of the cactus did not seem to deter the bird from a resting spot.

This was shot with Sony a300 and a Sony 18-70 mm lens at 35mm, f/7, 1/100 second.
