I had read in the local newspaper about sea lions taking over the docks around Astoria, Oregon. I headed down there from my home near Seattle, WA last spring to take a look for myself. I zoomed in to a group of sea lions taking an afternoon nap. It was quite an experience to witness them laying on top of one another, with no room to move around. Taken with Canon EOS T5i, Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS STM lens at 250mm, 1/640 sec at f/11, ISO 2500.
