I used my Canon 6D and my 100mm prime for this shot, it was a bright, warm light and most of the snow had melted so I was able to get a nice, dark background to play with. This was actually not my original, intended angle, but the wind would not let up and my legs were cramping, so I layed down in the wet leaves, leaned on my elbow and just shot continuously while it whipped around, keeping my aperture really wide at f2.8, but my ISO at 125 and my shutter speed at 1/640
