A Golddust Day Gecko (Phelsuma laticauda) licking sap and insects from a bromeliad (Aechmea blanchetiana) stalk. Photo taken at Foster's Botanical Garden, in Honolulu, island of O'ahu, Hawai'i, USA. As I wear silver & turqoise bracelets on both wrists, every living thing sees me approach with my camera, so I use feline strategy and just wait until hunger, thirst, or boredom enters the subject's mind.
