A pair of winter wrens set up housekeeping and I watched them build their nest. It took only two days and during that time I photographed them and was amazed st how they could fit a large stick into the tiny opening. Nikon D300 and Nikon lens 200-400 f4 VR with 1.7 teleconverter at ISO 800, f11 for DOF, and 1/60 sec with flash.
