This was a very interesting location for sunrise images. I was standing on a mixture of mud, fishbones and dead, rotting fish - which is how the state of the Salton Sea shore is currently. After sinking into this smelly mixture I periodically had to take a step away from the sinkhole and stand on the crustier surface.
