I was on a bus on my way from Guatemala City to Panajachel. Passing through Chimaltenango and crawling along in heavy two-lane traffic, I spotted these boys trying to get a glimpse of the carpenter making a door. I shot the photo through my open window and captured them just as the most daring boy was balancing on one foot to get a glimpse of the carpenter at work. I had but a couple seconds to capture the photo.
The photo was taken with a Nikon D7000 and 24-120 F4 lens at 35mm, ISO 500, f/5.6 at 1/5000 to stop vibrations from the bus. I processed the image in Lightroomn 5 slightly cropping the image, adding a subtle vignette and brightening the interior of the carpenter shop in Nik Viveza2. Dwayne P Daehler
