This was a pure joy to shoot! I really enjoy how her expression gives the viewer a plethora of stories to choose from, and the side-by-side with the mural helps to balance the overall frame. I stayed with this mural for quite some time, but everyone who passed by made direct eye contact with the camera. That made each shot look flat and lacking. I was so elated when she walked by and completely ignored me! I wanted to run up and give her a hug, but being quickly approached by a bald foreigner didn't seem like it would be all that pleasant. This was fun, plain and simple!
