I shot this at a local aquarium. I was mesmerized by this creature. It was shot handheld on a Canon 5D Mark III with a Canon 100 mm 2.8L macro at ISO 4000. Shutter speed was at 1/1600 at 2.8. The photo was imported into Aperture. Nik's Define 2 was used twice to get rid of the noise and then run through Sharpener Pro 3. Finally used Silver Efex Pro 2 to change it into black and white. Some contrast was used in Silver Efex and definition was used in Aperture. I don't know why I can stare at this photo for hours. Hope you enjoy this.
